Teacher Study Bursaries

The Cecchetti Society Trust offers support for teachers in their study of the Cecchetti work. A number of annual Awards, Bursaries and Scholarships were created in the name of teachers who over many years have made a significant contribution to the Cecchetti Method.  These bursaries honoured the dedication to teaching, the promotion of the art form and the selfless investment in the Cecchetti Method by, especially, Diana Barker, Daphne Cooper, Rita Emmerson, Richard Glasstone, Pat Hardy, Betty Major, Margaret Marsh, Jennifer Morgan, Eve Pettinger, Nora Roche and Grety Salomonson.  Their life’s work will be remembered in perpetuity.

The Cecchetti Society Trust has collectively grouped these Awards, Bursaries and Scholarships as Teacher Study Bursaries. The Bursaries are intended to assist individuals who are wanting to start a career in teaching the Cecchetti method; upskill their Cecchetti qualifications or provide further Cecchetti learning opportunities in their continuing professional development portfolio. Bursaries may be used for furthering professional development with regular study, or attendance at a holiday course or summer school, or through taking an examination.
