Cecchetti Society Trust fundraising Events
The Trust organises its own fundraising events to support special legacy projects and to raise additional funds for Scholarships for young dancers and teachers. The events are designed to showcase the Cecchetti work with professional artists, company directors and esteemed teachers and coaches. They are also an opportunity to introduce Cecchetti work to new audiences.
Fundraising events to realise the Cecchetti Diploma project included

An evening at the Café de Paris with dancers from The Royal Ballet and Birmingham Royal Ballet and a fundraising auction

The Trust also supports grants to other organisations for events which align to the Trust’s objectives and celebrate and promote the Cecchetti work. A regular beneficiary is the Ceccheti Society Classical Ballet Faculty, ISTD who organise an extensive programme of events and apply annually to the Trust on behalf of their teacher members in the UK, Europe and Japan. Events include:-

The Cecchetti Malta Awards, Malta
ADDITIONAL EVENT GRANTS
In addition, the Trust will consider individual applications for support for special Cecchetti events that fall within the remit of the Trust. These have included:-
Grant to Malta Teachers’ Group - 50th Anniversary Celebration of Cecchetti in Malta
Grant to Danzare Cecchetti ANCEC Italy - towards hosting the Cecchetti International Classical Ballet Competition, Florence Italy 2017
