Student Study Bursaries 2026

A number of Scholarships and Bursaries for students to attend Summer Schools or courses were created in the name of teachers, who over many years have made a significant contribution to teaching the Cecchetti Method to students, especially Barbara Geoghegan and Eve Pettinger. In 2023 the Cecchetti Society Trust collectively grouped these Bursaries and Scholarships as Student Summer Study Bursaries.  In 2026 the Trust has widened the scope of the bursaries to include intensive study courses. The Cecchetti Society Trust funds these Bursaries. 

GENERAL Information

  • The main focus of the intensive course must be on Cecchetti work and/or delivered by recognised Cecchetti providers. The intensive course may be based either in the UK or Internationally.   It cannot be an online course.

  • Bursaries may support tuition and travel costs, and if a residential course, accommodation/meal costs. The course of study must be completed by 31st August 2026.

  • Students must be studying ISTD Cecchetti Exams at the levels stated in the Terms & Conditions. Applications must be supported and signed by the student’s Cecchetti teacher.

Awards are offered at 2 levels:

1. Bursaries of up to £300 for Non Residential Intensive Course of Study                

2. Bursaries of up to £500 for Residential Intensive Course of Study
