On Sunday 19th April 2026 we are looking forward to welcoming many supporters to our event From Studio to Stage at The Royal Ballet School, Covent Garden. Supporting Cecchetti study for young dancers is an important part of the Trust’s work. Applications for the Cecchetti Scholarship Scheme must be returned by 24th April 2026, so it is not too late to apply. Application information is given below, so please share this with interested students and teachers so they do not miss the deadline .

If students are planning attending an intensive Cecchetti course over the summer, a Student Study Bursary might help support this aim. Further information is below and applications are invited by 15th June 2026.

CST Small & General Grant applications for the academic year 2026/27 are now open and it is an opportunity for individuals or organisations planning Cecchetti events or projects to apply for support. If you would like to learn more about these Grants, Elisabeth Swan will host an online meeting on 13th May 2026 - details are below.

The Cecchetti Society Trust is delighted to present From Studio to Stage on Sunday 19th April 2026 at The Royal Ballet School, Covent Garden, from 13.00 - 17.30, with coffee and registration from 12.30. During the afternoon there will be the opportunity to socialise with colleagues and guests over afternoon tea and a glass of fizz.

TICKET BOOKING - From Studio to Stage is open to teachers, students (minimum age 11 years) and to all lovers of ballet who would like to know more about Cecchetti and the work of the Trust. During the afternoon there will be the opportunity to socialise with colleagues and guests over afternoon tea. Cecchetti Classical Ballet Scholars 2026/2027 Entry Auditions

Application Deadline - 24th April 2026!

The Cecchetti Classical Ballet Scholarship Scheme offers talented young dancers outstanding training and performance experience. The scheme is funded by the Cecchetti Society Trust and organised by the Cecchetti Society Classical Ballet Faculty, ISTD. Applications are now open for the Cecchetti Scholars Auditions for entry for the academic year 2026/27. The Auditions will take place on Saturday 9th May at Arts Educational Schools,
14 Bath Road, London, W4 1LW. Exact audition times will be confirmed nearer the date but will not start before 13.00.

Student Study Bursaries 2026 Applications Invited!

Application Deadline - 15th June 2026

The Trust is inviting further applications for Student Study Bursaries to help support young dancers who have attended ,or will be attending, an intensive course of Cecchetti study between 1st January 2026 - 31st August 2026. Students must be aged 9 - 21 years by the 31st August 2026 and studying an ISTD Cecchetti exam at any level from Cecchetti Grade 5 /Class Exam 5 up to Diploma.

Applications are open to students in the UK and Internationally. Bursary categories are up to £500 (residential courses) and up to £300 (non residential courses). Small & General Grants 2026/27

Applications Open
Online Meeting, 13th May at 11.00 (GMT)

The Cecchetti Society Trust is inviting applications for Small Grants (up to £1,000) and General Grants (over £1,000) for the academic year 2026/27.  The Grants are to support events, activities or projects that will extend opportunities for Cecchetti learners beyond an individual school/teacher/student. 

If you would like to learn more about these grants or have any questions, Elisabeth Swan, Chair of the Trust will host an online Zoom meeting on Wednesday 13th May 2026 at 11.00 (GMT).
